Restaurant Review: Salad King

Overwhelmingly popular, Salad King really requires no description. I first heard about it from my then roommate in St. Catharines. It wasn't until the night of Nuit Blanche 2012 when I finally got to try it.

As I was reading the tips on Foursquare after my check-in, I saw a number of tips recommending a dish called Islamic Noodle that couldn't be found on the menu. It is almost like a combination of pad thai and curry rich in coconut taste. 

As I am usually torn between the choice of curry or pad thai, getting the Islamic Noodle was a no-brainer. It was delicious, affordable, and generous in portion size. 

If I worked or lived downtown, I would return to Salad King for a quick lunch or a dinner on a week day before it gets too busy.

I am giving Salad King 4 out of 5 stars. (★★★★☆)
